How to: View resources in use by a device.
Solution:
Use 'Device Manager' to view the 'Resources' page of the device's properties tabbed page.
To view the resources used by a hardware device:
1) Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu and select 'Control Panel'. (The 'Control Panel' window appears.)

2) Double-click the 'System' icon. (The 'System Properties' dialog box appears.)
3) Click the 'Device Manager' tab.

4) Click the plus sign next to the device type for which to view resources. (The device tree expands to reveal individual devices.)
5) Double-click the device in the 'Device Manager List' to open it. (The '<device name> Properties' dialog box appears, where <device name> is the name of the specific device chosen.)
6) Click the 'Resources' tab.
7) View the resources used by the device in the 'Resource Settings' box.
NOTE 1: Device resources include memory or port addresses, IRQ settings, and DMA channel settings.
NOTE 2: Windows 95 indicates any conflicting devices (such as those with an IRQ conflict) in the 'Conflicting Devices' box.
